England’s lastest batting talent, young Dan Lawrence became a common household name when he announced himself with his 161 for Essex against Surrey back in 2015, when he became the third-youngest player to make a County Championship 100. Since then, he hasn’t looked back. His recent games were against Australia A. Here, he made four fifties and two tons, one of them being a 190. Along with his batting prowess, he bowls right-arm off-breaks and is a very decent part-timer.

Haider Ali – Best Pakistan Talent Cricket has?

Haider Ali is Pakistan’s youngest batting sensation. Haider is widely regarded as the next ‘big thing’ in Pakistan Cricket. One of his records includes making a hundred in the Quaid E Azam Trophy Final against Central Punjab. He made his First-Class debut in September 2019 and has made 645 runs at an average of 49.62 along with three fifties and two tons. Unfortunately for Haider, he tested positive for the coronavirus and may miss the Pakistan tour of England.

Will Pucovski

Will Pucovski has often been called the future of Australian batting ever since his first-class debut for Victoria. He would have made his Test debut in 2019 but he was overlooked for the inform Kurtis Patterson. Will Pucovski still churns out the runs, at an average of 42. Will Pucovski has converted four of his nine fifties into tons. In the 2018-19 Shield season, Pucovski became just the eighth Australian batsman to make a Shield double hundred before the age of 21.

Cameron Green made a name for himself in the 2019-20 Marsh Sheffield Shield season with all his runs with the bat. He made three tons and a fifty at an average of 44. Unfortunately due to a back niggle, he has not been able to bowl this season. Albeit, he does boast a strong bowling record, with 28 wickets in 15 bowling innings at an average of 21. He also has two five-wicket hauls to go along with it. He has been heralded by Ricky Ponting as a pick for the future.

Sam Hain is widely regarded as the best One-day batsman in domestic cricket. He supports those claims by averaging 60 across 56 List-A innings. Not only does he have ten tons and 15 fifties, but he also has an astonishing strike rate of 86 in the format. He has also done very well at the domestic FC level with an average of 37. We could expect to see Sam Hain in English ODI colours pretty soon.

Shubman Gill

The last future batting prospect is Shubman Gill who has an astonishing record in domestic first-class cricket. With an average of 74 in first-class games, it is a surprise that he has not featured yet in test matches for India. First-Class games aren’t his only strength since he does boast an average of 46 in List-A games as well. He has also earned the best upcoming player award in the IPL, where he had a stellar opening run for the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Hopefully, these future batting prospects make it big! These are the 6 best talent cricket has to offer.
